@Danica,

I read your blog religiously. It's kind of crazy yet ironic because just before I decided to give running my 100% effort, I stumbled upon your blog. I like reading about your struggles with running and kind of reminds me that every runner at some point struggles. Even though were in different boats, it's really motivating for me to see (well read, duh) some like yourself who's been the beginner but been able to do marathons upon marathons. I know someday, if I choose to, I'll do a marathon.

However, I just signed up for a 5k race on Sunday, November 22.

Have you tried the Podrunner podcast on iTunes? I would recommend it to prevent wearing yourself out. I know you're injured at the moment, but once you are feeling better, try the podcast.

Be kind to yourself! (your own words to me, which I appreciated greatly) <3

@Courtney,

I'm so tired of it. I mean, can't I have my other half of me private? Sure, I'll share what I ate for dinner (maybe) or a healthy snack I brought to work (maybe 100 calorie popcorn with 2 tablespoons of craisins!), but that's it. None of the boyfriend talk at work. That doesn't belong there. Nor does the Anorexia BS that I once had to go through. It's just like, I'm so over it.

Yes, I feel your struggle.

Life is this series of experiences, questions, triumphs, struggles, failures... etc and I honestly think it's only those who allow themselves to experience all facets of what life is, are those who actually end up living it.

I want into college undecided. I decided to go after acting and attempt to transfer and I got rejected from the program (I'll never know if it had anything to do with the fact that I auditioned while suffering from pnemonia) In the meantime I switched majors about 5 times and finally settled on advertising in the communications department. I couldn't believe how interesting some of my classes were, and how much I enjoyed learning the material. It was the right choice, even if it didn't make sense at the time. Good luck.
